A peaceful 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath retreat where your family can gather after enjoying the many museums, outdoor activities, sightseeing, shopping, and dining that the Los Angeles area has to offer. It is spacious and open and affords us the opportunity to be together in our space even when engaged in different activities. It is stylish, yet comfortable. Enjoy dining Al Fresco on our 325 square foot patio complete with a farmhouse table, vaulted ceilings, and slate floor. Cook dinner in our fully equipped cook's kitchen while your other family members relax in our living room or family room (all within your sight). Ideally located as a touring base, our location offers easy access to the cities of Los Angeles, Malibu, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Santa Barbara, and Anaheim (all of which are 20-60 minutes from our location). We are less than a half mile from Lake Balboa which offers pedal boats, a walking/jogging path around lake, biking, sports, golf, children's play areas, a hobby plane airport and Japanese Garden. Fine dining and fabulous shopping are within a couple of miles of our home. We are centrally located in a quiet, tree-lined suburban neighborhood in the City of Lake Balboa (adjacent to Encino, Tarzana, and Sherman Oaks). We are approximately 20-30 minutes from Universal City, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice, Westwood and more. In about an hour, you can be relaxing at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa or perusing the shops and fine restaurants of Santa Barbara. If you are feeling adventurous, take a slightly longer car ride and visit Disneyland in Anaheim or travel further South and experience San Diego and all it has to offer with it's many attractions and amenities including Legoland, the San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park and more. If you want to enjoy island life, take the Catalina Express or helicopter to Catalina Island for the day or weekend. If you have kids, we are happy to recommend kid-friendly activities in the area. *No pets allowed at this property.
