The character and history of this place goes right back to the early fur trading, gold rush and settling days. The location was chosen for the abundant fish and wildlife. The boathouse, grounds, flower gardens and walking trails on the wilderness island make this place unique. Canoeing, hiking and boating is awesome in this area. We often catch all the fish we want to eat right from our docks and boathouse. We often see a spectacular show of Auora Borealis right from the cottage decks and hear the family of bald eagles on the adjacent island or the howls of timber wolves in the distance.
