2 Bedroom house in picturesque Mesudiye Village of Datca, located halfway between Knidos ruins and Datca town. The village is very popular with holiday makers while retaining the traditional, unspoiled characteristics. It is 20 minutes drive to Datca by car thru pine forests. The village is very green all seasons, covered with olive, almond, fig and pomegranate trees. Our house is perfectly located for easy access to several beaches and the village shops/restaurants or enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. The house is 900 meters away from Ovabuku Beach. A car is advised but the house is easily accessible by the local Dolmus service. The house has an open plan, spacious living room and kitchen opening to the big balcony with excellent views of the sea, surrounding mountains and the village. The kitchen is well equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer and a washing machine. There are two bedrooms (1 double, 2 single beds) with air conditioning. Datca is beautiful in all seasons. It is very popular in summer time but it is also an ideal place for walking and trekking especially in spring and autumn. There is an average of 300 days of sunshine a year and the daytime temperatures rarely drop below 15-17 C in winter. Spring comes early to Datca, by mid February whole area is covered with almond blossoms and wild flowers. If you like discovering the area by walking then there are several trekking routes, along the unspoiled coastline or the countryside where you can enjoy Datca's natural beauty, forests, rock formations, streams, rivers, herbs and wildflowers. If you are interested in bird watching, photography, painting, reading, writing or simply seeing a mountain of daisies and other wild flowers then Datca is an ideal place.
