We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Palm Island. If you want to just relax, this location is perfect. Although there is no view of the Gulf, the two mile long, white sand beach is a short walk away-it is uncrowded and a shell-collectors/birders paradise. The property is especially spacious, well appointed, and welcoming, as well as having a fully stocked kitchen. The very large, screened front porch has a table and chairs and looks out to a park-like setting of mixed palms and gardens. A great place for breakfasts. Tennis courts and a heated pool are across the street. We were especially impressed by the friendliness of both the resort staff and our neighbors. Everyone truly enjoys this place and with reason. Since Palm Island Resort doesn’t permit cars (you leave your car in a lot at the resort’s entrance,) you hear only nature’s sounds and occasionally a person whizzing by in a golf cart. But be sure to bring groceries for your stay because there is only a very small store at the Resort. There is also a restaurant and a coffee shop. This property comes highly recommended.

"This was a beautiful chalet looking at Mont Blanc in the Swiss Alps. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to deal with. Great location. Highly recommend."
Great access to Follins Pond and the kayaking was fantastic. We watched fireworks from the water one night. Great central location to get to all of the Cape hot spots. Great family retreat with convenient shopping and restaurants just a few miles away. Mayflower beach 15-20 minute drive, Chatham, Ptown, ferries to Nantucket, Marthas Vineyard, etc... 45 minute or so drive.

"The Ledene Condo was up to
the "standard" one expects in the ski-condo market, and it is overseen by the
Lakeside village management in a neat, orderly way. It was a pleasure staying
there and I would recommend it to anyone. The layout was excellent and it has
covered parking." Guest: Walker Chandler; posted March 2013
