This comfortable, country-style cottage is located in Plantation Key Colony, a quiet family neighborhood at mile marker 90, bayside, on Plantation Key, the northernmost key of the seven keys that comprise Islamorada, "The Village Of Islands".  It is a three bedroom, three bath home: the master bedroom has a king bed, the guest room has a queen bed and the separate downstairs bed/bath suite has two twin beds.  The living room sofa is a queen sofa-bed.  The house will easily accomodate eight persons.  The kitchen spice rack, appliances, pots and pans and china cabinet are fully stocked for the gourmet cook.  Counter seating and a full-size dining table with a leaf and an ample number of chairs allow home cooked meals and seating for a full house, plus guests, too.  For entertainment it has Wi-Fi; Comcast cable HD-TV; DVD and VHS players with DVD movies; Sony CD/tape/radio stereo system with music CDs and tapes; board games; playing cards and puzzles.  Relax on the screened patio overlooking the canal while you read a book.  We have lots of books, so you may trade a book or take home one you have not yet finished.   The lawn is fenced on two sides and has an adirondack chair group, a gas grill and picnic table overlooking the canal.  There is adequate room to park one or two boat trailers in the yard. It has a deep water dock with 50 feet of docking space, dock lights, 11K pound capacity davits, an outdoor freshwater shower, electric power outlets, water hoses and a fish cleaning station. The canal connects directly to Florida Bay near Tavernier Creek with its direct access to the Atlantic Ocean and multiple marinas and waterfront restaurants.  Plantation Key Colony has a small community park with a boat ramp, a dock, tow-vehicle and trailer parking, and sunset views.   Islamaorada Founder's Park, located at mile marker 87, has a beach with kayak and Hobie Kat sailboat rentals; olympic-size diving pool with a large lawn and deck with chairs, tables, chaise lounges, and bath house facilities; tennis courts; an amphitheatre for music events; play grounds; ball fields; exercise path, and dog park.  Plantation Yacht Harbor is located on the grounds with large-boat dockage, a marina with a boat ramp and gas dock.    The cottage is in a great location within walking distance to Payfair grocery store, Craig's Restaurant, and the waterfront restaurants Made 2 Order Cafe and Old Tavernier Restaurant.  One mile away at MM91 is Tavernier Towne plaza with a CVS drugstore; a Winn Dixie supermarket; a movie theater; the Tavernier post office; shopping and dining establishments: both fast food and gourmet.  A bicycle path connects Islamorada with Key Largo along the Overseas Highway.  The Marathon airport is a 1.0 hour drive, Miami airport is a 1.5 hour drive, Ft.
